About Us
We are a non-profit community owned preschool which caters for children aged 3-6 years. Our preschool offers a spacious grassed area with plenty of room for play, exploration and adventure and is set in a natural landscape of blue and green.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a pathway to quality early childhood education and development through the National Early Years Quality Framework (NQS).
Our Vision
Our vision is to meet and exceed the expectations and needs of current and future families, and to deliver a high quality interest and play based learning program within the framework of our existing philosophy and mission of the service, and effectively utilise the available facilities to ensure the long-term viability of the service.
Operations & Policies
The operations and policies are dedicated towards providing excellent service with integrity, honesty, respect, tolerance, understanding, kindness and concern for others. These are formulated with parent, educator and community input and in accordance with current regulations.
Curriculum
The curriculum is non-discriminatory, non-biased, non-threatening and reflects a cross-cultural approach. The pre-school employs the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as a guide to best practice in developing a quality program for all children who attend. The curriculum is play based and co-constructed in partnership with the children, educators and families.
Relationships
Relationships are at the heart of our service. Parental involvement is welcomed and valued. Our focus is on relationships and partnerships with both educators and children and educators and families. We urge parents and interested community members to be involved in the management and operation of the preschool.
Cooranbong Valley Community Preschool is committed to providing the highest quality learning experience for your child in preparation for their entry to school and life.
